Galina D. Urman is a licensed attorney in the State of Florida and United States District Court Southern District of Florida.
Ms. Urman is the founder of Urman Law Group, P.A., a boutique law firm with a focus on representing clients before the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS). Galina assists her clients with nonimmigrant visas, family and business immigration and naturalization.
Ms. Urman’s life experience and her legal knowledge combine to provide her clients with an ideal ability to understand and sympathize with her client's concerns. With this profound appreciation of the issues that are faced by immigrants and their families today, Ms. Urman is able to represent her clients with compassion, legal expertise, and integrity.
Ms. Urman’s desire to work and better her community comes from her immigrant roots. Born in the Soviet Union, Galina immigrated to the United States in 1992 as a refugee. She attended Michigan State University and graduated with Honors, with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a specialization in Political Economy. During her undergraduate studies, she spent time living in Brussels, Belgium while attending Universitè Libre de Bruxelles. She went on to graduate cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Auburn Hills, Michigan and has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2011.
Ms. Urman began her legal career as an Associate Attorney at a well-known Miami immigration law firm, where she focused on U.S. immigration and nationality law, while also gaining invaluable experience in business law, employment law, and investment-based immigration for foreign nationals.
Fluent in English and Russian, Ms. Urman represents immigrants and their families from countries all over the world, and has the unique ability to represent Russian and Eastern European immigrants in both English and their own language. In addition to her legal experience and education, Ms. Urman is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker-Associate with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Florida Realty.
